We used Hugger Headers and had to cut the old mount frame.

1979 Chevy Luv Conversion

This is a 1979 Chevy LUV Pickup Truck with a small block chevy 354, and should run 11.35 seconds in the quarter mile at 120 MPH est. It is completely street legal including exhaust it has street tires on it. All lights and turn signals work properly. On the hood, pins have been installed. The engine is a Chevy 350 that is bored 40 over, build by W/W motors out of Phoenix, Arizona. 10.50:1 compression on 1:94 heads, with a comp cam. The engine is mated to a built turbo 400 with a 3500 stall converter and 32 spline that has a Cheetah reversed valve body for easy shifting during G-Force take off. Racing wheels are Craiger 8" deep. The 15 gal fuel cell, and battery was relocated to the rear of the bed. In addition we installed 150 extra horse power with a Nitrous wet kit.  We have a custom steering wheel, Sun gauges, Hurst shifter. This truck is currently licensed until 2007.
